Democratic presidential candidate and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley will visit Charleston on Saturday to participate in a town hall event.
O’Malley will be appearing with Charleston Democratic Sen. Marlon Kimpson in an event co-sponsored by the state Democratic Party and House Democratic Delegation at the International Longshoremen Association Local 1422.
Early primary state polls and national polls have O’Malley in the single digits far behind opponents Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. In addition to Kimpson, state Representatives J. Seth Whipper, David J. Mack III, Wendell G. Gilliard, Mary E. Tinkler, and Robert L. Brown will also be in attendance. >>>
