U.S. presidential candidate Martin O'Malley to make campaign stop in Ann Arbor.

Democratic presidential candidate Martin O'Malley will make his first campaign visit to Michigan on Wednesday with a planned fundraiser in Ann Arbor.

A happy hour event featuring the former Maryland governor takes place from 5-6 p.m. at Arbor Brewing Co, 114 E. Washington St.

"Come have a drink with Governor Martin O'Malley," reads a Facebook page created for the event. "While governor of Maryland, Martin was always a progressive champion, passing marriage equality, gun safety legislation and the DREAM Act. He is the frontman in an Irish rock band and is hoping to bring a new generation of leadership to the White House — and he needs your help to do it."
