1. He embodies everything I thought democrats stood for.

I feel like our party has turned its back on us.

2. It has! I've watched it over the years turn to all about $$$$'s and donations, until

now IMO it's run by lobbyists, many of whom do not have "we the people" in mind, but rather "we for money."

Many Americans IMO are peculiar in their thoughts, thinking their pot of gold is just around the corner. It's not, wake up and smell the coffee is what they need to do. The system is now rigged against most Americans. Just a brief glance at the distribution of wealth curve certainly tells one that. Far too many fall for the BS rhetoric espoused by some politicians who politic to line their pockets.

And many Americans vote people into congress that don't have the interests of "we the people in mind" and then congress gets a 13% approval rating. Then they go vote the same ones or similar into office again, and they get a 13% approval rating again.

It's wacky!!!

3. Sadly true, but I believe people are waking up.

4. This election to me is most interesting and one wherein people seem to be paying more

attention than just blindly listening to the rhetoric and voting on command.

5. Yes, we're experiencing a paradigm shift.

6. 2016 is IMO the most major turning point I've ever experienced. There is a fork in the

road ahead. If this country goes rightward, as in Trump, it will IMO affect generations to come, especially with SCOTUS vacancies. In fact, the concept of a democracy might be lost for a very very long time.

9. Yes, and most polls have Sanders beating Trump by wider margins than Clinton.

I fear that if the establishment steals this for Clinton (super delegates, media etc.), there will be a huge backlash from the base during the GE, and the presidency will be handed to Trump or Cruz.

17. I can not imagine the horror...of course, they replayed it over and over and normal

everyday people, like my family who were Republicans, couldn't look away. I didn't know it at the time as i was still a teenager, but apparently I was a closet Democrat all along...first vote at 21 for McGovern.
