Just a wee little anecdote...

Some background: my SO and I are long-time committee people (currently taking a "vacation&quot .

Anyway, we were at an event this weekend where there were many committee members. In talking about the primary, much to my surprise every member we talked to (with one exception) preferred Bernie over Hillary. Granted, this was only about 10-15 people, but we're in New York, which is Hillary country. The down side was that the meme that Bernie "doesn't have a chance" seems to be prevalent, even among politically active and aware people. This was disheartening, but we did our best to point people where they could find evidence to the contrary...

Nothing pisses me off more than hearing this statement. Bernie's not doing this for fun. He's in it to win, and win he will.

But when you get people that say this, it just shows how stupid and ignorant people really can be. Even the educated ones.

No one compares to Bernie. For ANYONE to say this, just shows their total ignorance for the subject matter, and not voting from the heart, nor the facts.

If these people would vote their conscience, Bernie would win by a landslide.

2. The "doesn't have a chance" thing was happening 8 years ago until Obama pulled off some early wins.

Once the doubters started to believe, there was an avalanche.

People have been bombarded by the corporate meme. Hillary isn't really all that strong. The people have enthusiasm for Bernie.
