From Bloomberg:

Shelton declined to comment on other unions' endorsements of Clinton, which include those of AFSCME, the Laborers, and the American Federation of Government Employees. Her support from labor groups now represents the majority of the unionized workers in the U.S. Shelton did, however, repeatedly allude to the scrupulously democratic process that led to his union's decision in favor of Sanders.

"An endorsement coming from me or from the executive board alone would have been an empty endorsement," Shelton said.

So, he did comment, he just refrained from connecting the dots.

And the connected dots say that the rank and file are not represented in union endorsements for Clinton. No chapter has broken away from the national union when supporting Bernie. Not the case with Clinton

Bernie's got this!

Bernie Sanders - "Don't underestimate me."

We won't!
