When Sander starts unpacking in detail what he means by Democratic Socialism, I think
this contrast needs to be a constant side-bar theme throughout .. which KIND of Socialism
do you want? The Corporate or the Democratic version? Because right now we're suffering
from way to much of the former, and it's high time to level the playing field.

Government matters, it determines who's taxed, by how much, and where those taxes go,
and who benefits from that investment. But I think the trick will be in how it's communicated,
in simple terms, kind of like Robert Reich has been faithfully doing on YouTube for the past
several years, and how Richard Wolff explains such things. I really hope Sander has Reich
and Wolff near enough to his inner circle to get their counsel and advice as to how to present
Bernie's version of Democratic Socialism to American voters, even voters who are not especially
well-educated or conversant in economic policy.

But Lessig is running against Bernie right now, and used to be in Bernie's campaign,
which really turned me off to him, kind of a turn-coat IMHO.

And he's running a myopic one-issue campaign that's hard to take very seriously,
except that I suspect it's mainly to try to sell more of his recently published book,
rather than to help Bernie --who has the same policy on CU-- and actually has a
good chance to win this thing.

At this point, if i were Bernie -- if my impression of Lessig is accurate, which I think
is at least in the ball-park -- I would find it difficult to trust Lessig's advice.

Interesting that he doesn't think Bernie is accentuating money in politics enough. That's been a main criticism, that he talks about it too much

Thank you!!!

A guaranteed income for all Americans, to be able to rise above poverty, or a guaranteed income to all corporations, who already have so much money they have to hide it offshore to avoid paying taxes on it.

The answer is pretty easy really...if you are a humanist.

Decent human beings -- regardless of their label or party or whatever --
have an intuitive sense when they encounter another decent human being.

And there are way more of us out there, eager to vote with a clean conscience,
than the M$M pendants and their Oligarch overlords could ever imagine.

I really think it's such an amazing time to be alive, to see this unfolding. This
is history in the making, and I'm loving it.

Given the climate change clock tick-tocking, given that CU is being put to the test by
Bernie's amazingly broad small-donor base he's building, given that UK & Canada
have already turned the corner. This IS happening, and yes i AM "carried away" and
loving it.
