They're setting aside a podium in case Biden shows up.

(14,255 posts)That would steal a lot of attention. In fact, just the vacant podium steals a bit of attention. A podium set aside for someone who has not spent the last however many years running for president. And still may not announce.

(6,498 posts)It would be funny for CNN to still find themselves short by a podium.

(14,255 posts)referring to. The only reason I could see Hillary not minding Biden declaring is if she thought having him as VP would help her chances. And I read something yesterday about Obama proposing a rollback of Biden's student loan exclusion from bankruptcy, I think? Which would only help Biden, and steals the thunder from Hillary proposing it.
As an aside, there are very few politicians that I think would actually follow through on proposals. Been there, done that. Bernie is on that very short list. Of one.

(18,791 posts)Be so frick'n pissed off, if he shows up.
It will all seem like a big fat set up and would totally disrupt the debate, making it virtually impossible for Bernie to get out his message.
This game that Biden has been playing for weeks is bull.
