An unsolicited PM I just got about Bernie supporters...

Anyone else getting stuff?

It said:

I have never in my life seen a group of people
living in such denial and delusion as the DU Bernie supporters.
It is about Bernie and the narrow piece of the electorate he represents.

You are getting PMs because they got banned from the Bernie group. Don't they get that maybe we don't want to talk to them about our "denial and delusion?"

I thought there was an option to block PM and email? You could either add individuals you wanted to hear from, or turn 'on' receive PM and email. It seems to me that was one of the reasons DU so appealed to me-- the option to not be harassed!

"They" also thought BO had no chance and HRC was a shoe-in in 2008. Maybe it's just too painful, too much cognitive dissonance to see it happening again, with Bernie. So the denial is in them, not Bernie's supporters. That said, IMO there's not enough time in the day to be bothered by such nonsense. Block 'em, and move on.

Considering that poll after poll shows a majority of voters agreeing with Bernie on the issues, although perhaps not yet supporting him, it is absurd to call his supporters a "narrow piece of the electorate."

Our task, and we still have lots of time to accomplish it, is to convince people that they should vote our dreams, our hopes and our best interests and not let establishment punditocracy, who have betrayed us over and over for the last forty years, tell us for which establishment candidate we should vote. The establishment doesn't represent the people like Bernie does.

The oligarchs are going down in the next year and a half, people. Long live the revolution. Long live Legs Dimon and Pretty Boy Lloyd -- each in his own eight by ten cell.

Let MIRT know about this e-mail, MadFloridian. It may be a TOS violation. I haven't gotten one like that yet.

are neither in denial or delusional. No more than they are. We are supporting OUR candidate in a primary. And from the crowds we are seeing it does not seem we are so small. This has been the way of the Party for a very long time. We have not even had one primary state vote yet and they expect us to give up?

If that bothers them then they fail to see what a primary is all about. It is not about a coronation. IMO what they are doing is telling us that we should give up and support THEIR candidate because - well I do not know why - but I indent to stay with Bernie to the end.

On Mon Jul 27, 2015, 12:18 PM an alert was sent on the following post:

An unsolicited PM I just got about Bernie supporters...
http://www.democraticunderground.com/128030007

REASON FOR ALERT

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

ALERTER'S COMMENTS

Hide this very meta post. This is the exact stuff that we complain the Clinton group does, and there here it is right here. High fives and all.

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Mon Jul 27, 2015, 12:36 PM, and the Jury voted 2-5 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: I see nothing wrong with discussing a rude, unsolicited PM.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Why was this alerted? They posted a PM message and left the users ID off protecting their identity, soooooo?
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Ok, I'll hide for being meta because I would like to see some consistency, too. Shouldn't the hosts be taking care of this?
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: I want to know if this stuff happens so I can be prepared if it happens to me.
Juror #5 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: More alert stalking. Knock it off.
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #7 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given

Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.

I went there once and backed out, but I did learn they do a group huddle to go and swarm OPs.
