What Sanders won was the future

Dems under 35 are the future, and they went for Sanders in overwhelming numbers. Lots of people over 55 think of Bulgarian department stores circa 1956 whenever they hear "socialism.: Those born after 1985 think of the Republican definition of socialism--any government investment that benefits the majority--and they want it. Clinton will be the last neoliberal president, and will probably move left under pressure herself.

2. That's an interesting, delicious irony vis a vis the rethug caricature - now turned on

its head to our benefit. I would like to share your certainty about the turning of the tide within our party. If she doesn't get the message and honor it, though, things could become even more entrenched as the powerful see this as a warning shot that demands doubling down on policy fixes to ensure the surge will not succeed in the future.
