1. This reminds me of the time the media in our country lied us into the Iraq War
Every journalist who neglected to tell this story of what really happened at the Nevada convention I no longer consider to be a real journalist.
They always seem to have time to show the angry crowd, but never time to explain why they are angry. |

7. Although I'm still puzzled by some of what happened, what is clear to me,
having read just about everything available, is that after the District Convention the party leaders were afraid of losing their power at the Convention, which is the highest party authority in the state. Although they claim that they made virtually no changes to the rules since 2008, there actually are some fairly significant ones:
For example, they removed this 2008 rule: "State Democratic Party Officers are prohibited from endorsing or demonstrating official aid to or support of one Democratic candidate over another in the 2008 Nevada precinct caucuses. " And they added this rule: "All current members of the State Central Committee shall be given an opportunity to serve another term as a committee member." In the 2008, a Quorum was 50% of the delegates but in 2016 it was 40%. They also changed the rules about delegate registration to say that anyone who hadn't registered by 10:00 am would be considered to have vacated their seats, whereas, in past years their seat would be filled by an alternate until they showed up. One of the Hillary delegates mentioned that they had all been urged to be there no later than 9:00 am, because there might be a vote on the rules. However, on the official agenda that vote is schedule for 10:00 am or later. Funny thing is, it was voted on just as soon as they had 40% of the delegates there for a quorum. It's almost as if it were planned that way. |

8. ^^^^^^
of course it was planned that way. And they used smear tactics to try to incite a riot. It didn't work, so they lied about the violence.
