Voted in NY

Last edited Tue Apr 19, 2016, 07:51 AM - Edit history (1)

I suspect turnout is larger than usual. I am usually number 2 or 3 in my precinct because I always vote very early. Today I was no. 9.

Quite a few new voters. Some problems with knowing where to go. One guy was not registered and called the campaign.

Don't forget to vote for Bernie delegates too. They are marked as Sanders delegates on the ballot.

If you are voting for Hillary, you vote tomorrow.

2. Your last comment is funny, but

Many people on DU have no sense of humor. If this post was in GDP, a supporter of the other candidate would block your post! The blocking BS is out of control.

13. Love the Pope reference... That is sure to ruffle some feathers in Weathervane's podium.

4. Me too, just a few minutes ago

The only thing that was different here on Long Island, because there are two elections I had to go on two different sides to vote. Strange

11. Aren't the instructions to vote for any 7, but there are only 5 Bernie delegates on the ballot?

Isn't that confusing?

12. I think it depends on the county...

...in my county it's "Vote for any six" and there are six delegates listed for each candidate. Of course, I don't get to vote until noon or later.

15. Not in my precinct

There were 6 Bernie delegates and you vote for 6. It is pretty clearly marked. No problem there.
