ABC News: Bernie Sanders Suspends his Campaign.

I know nobody would fall for this on April 1. I gave it a shot anyway. If I hadn't been banned I would have posted it in the Hillary group. Forgive me, for I know not what I do! (At a bar drinking really good beer).

17. I suffered for a couple of decades with a bad spine.

They used to give me pain killers that I would take for a week or so, but not recalling helping. I went to the emergency room one day and the er doc prescribed hydrocodone and valium. It worked so well because I figured out that if I could keep my back muscles relaxed I would not have the spasms. So I started taking the combo about one a week and now for 4 years I have not had a spasm or back pain since. I get a 30 day script for both and it lasts me for 4 months. So I tell fellow old farts to take them before anything happens about once a week and just about everyone likes the method. My doc even says it almost makes sense to her.

19. I had a terrible aching (and sharp in certain motions) shoulder.

Found out I have calcium restricted foramen 3 vertebrae in my neck. It was causing very annoying aching pain, with several very sharp pains when I moved the wrong way. So They signed me up for physical therapy, which was around the same time I started taking 30-60 mg of Oxycodone a day (pure pharmaceutical OXY with no liver blowing acetaminophen.

One day I took 90 mgs - the equivalent of 18 normal 5mg tablets. I truly believe I came close to death. OK, that being said - When I finally woke up 2 days later, the pain was completely gone. I think I broke something with all that painkiller. It's been several years since that happened, and the pain has not returned. I can only think that the massive doses of OXY over about a month and a half, somehow short-circuited something, or possible the painkillers allowed the inflammation to subside.

But I'm pretty happy about it, and because of my experience, I'm sticking to pot and alcohol.

21. Yea, probably cut down on the inflammation an made you relax enough for your body to do its

thing. With mw the muscles would over a period of time just get a little tighter each day. As they got tighter they naturally pulled more on the spine. When they pulled enough I would start having muscle spasms below my waist which made it impossible to move any part of my lower body as it was like I was going through electro shock. I found out through just recreational use of the 2 pills on every weekend for a few months, that it did not happen any more. How ever if I skipped a few weeks, it came back like it used to.

So I get a good buzz once a weekend and that relaxes everything and no problems. My doc has no problem filling the scrips for 30 days worth every 3-4 months. I think people with pain caused by tight muscles might try the method as taking it after it has started takes me out of commission for at least a week or 2.

I can do the crown royal, pot though raises my heart rate and lowers my BP neither are good for me.

22. It all makes sense

Maybe it also changed the part of me that is anxious, obsessed with being perfect at work (stress), etc. I really think after my near death experience I decided taking these drugs was not a very long term solution to any problems. I never looked back. And I feel OK. Suffering from long-term depression, panic attacks (terrible!), particularly AT WORK!, the drug regimen I'm on (the drug that finally put the pieces together for me is called Modafinil) is working great for me, thank dog.

24. I am slowly putting things together. When you get old a lot of things you had when young come back

it seems. Things go away during the mid years I guess because the immune system is good and working allows a certain amount of ignoring things. So after 65, the schizophrenia, bi-polar, asthma and heart problems I had as a child came back. Probably a little ADHD thrown in as they did not know what that was. But I have to say that life is better know than it was as a little kid. I remember little tricks I used to do as a kid to survive. Like sneezing so violently that I would rattle the walls, it forced my lungs to get rid of the garbage that was going to cause me a problem. At 68 my cardiologist tells me to keep doing what I am doing and ignore what some of the other cardiologist tell me. My respiratory doc looks a what I am allergic to and wonders why she isn't visiting me in the hospital, but just doing what I am doing as I am her healthiest patient.

Such is life I guess. People who live a long time figure out how to work around problems, those that don't, well...

I'm not as gutsy. I have a reputation to maintain.

BTW, is that billboard next to Port of Oakland?

The landscape looks familiar.

The beauty of the AF joke is the wonderful rush of relief when you find out it's not true. Mother Nature missed AF by one day - it's snowing today!! Can't win 'em all!
