URGENT- People in NY, PA and MD are reporting that their party affiliation on their voter's registrations have been "magically" changed. Others are reporting that they are not in the system, all together.

Everyone in NY, California, Pennsylvania and Maryland need to spread the word. People's party affiliations are being changed to "unaffiliated" on their voter's registration and some are not even in the system even though they registered months ago.

*Let's prevent election fraud. Be prepared! Ok, people listen up.
* If you want to make sure your vote is counted and pay it forward copy/paste this and make this viral. Tell everyone and everyone that you can!

Check your state primary registration deadline. Make sure you are registered to vote! Check if you are here CanIVote.org.
Check if your state has open or closed primaries. This is IMPORTANT to know.
IF YOUR VOTER REGISTRATION STATUS IS "NO AFFILIATION" IN A CLOSED PRIMARY STATE YOUR VOTE WILL NOT COUNT.
YOU MUST BE REGISTERED WITH A PARTY FOR YOUR VOTE TO BE COUNTED
Bring a print out or screenshot of your registration confirmation as proof. Bring your ID or two forms of ID.
Bring a friend and a phone that can record video. If you have any issues RECORD RECORD RECORD.
5. DO NOT LEAVE THE VOTING PLACE UNTIL YOU HAVE VOTED. Bring drinks and snacks or a fold up chair. Be prepared to sit in if you have to now that we saw what could happen in AZ.

This New York site is not working anymore. Contact the SoS Office to see what they are doing to comply with the law. I will leave it up to DUers to check out states of their interest.

Seems like the law says that once you use a Provisional Ballot, then you are a registered voter. To me that means that the Sanders campaign can petition the delegates to obtain and release all information pertaining to the voting processes and vote count; the convention has not yet taken place. Other alternative would be for a state like Arizona to now have a secondary primary as provisional voters are now registered to vote in Arizona. After signing the provisional vote paper, then they had the right to turn around and fill out a ballot on the spot; no voting machine. The state could also accept vote by mail as the provisional voters are now registered by law using the provisional vote; the Convention has not taken place yet. States having Primaries late in the election year could use the mail in ballot after accepting provisional ballots at the voting booth.

10. Is this really what we have become?

So sad that in this supposed democratic country of ours, voting suppression is going on EVERYWHERE!! I live in Oregon, we vote by mail. We get a voters pamphlet and then a ballot that we fill out in our leisure in the privacy of our own home and then either mail it or drop it off at drop boxes that are provided or just walk it in. WE DON'T HAVE nor NEED POLLING PLACES!! Simple, easy, no-hassle. And when I read that a number of states RAN OUT OF BALLOTS (paper ballots that people have to write on) I wonder...are we living in the 19th century or the 21st? How hard is it to PRINT OFF MORE BALLOTS...how can these states and the people running elections pull this crap and think we just fell off the turnip truck?? This is corruption and fraud. Why in this country should we have to double check to be sure our state elections bureau hasn't "mistakenly" changed our party affiliation...oh, maybe one or ten or twenty people...but hundreds?? I won't say what else I am thinking, except some people have taken the Karl Rove course in election manipulation and fraud and one-upped him big time.
