Related: About this forumSorry to ask this but I lost my "Bernie" avatar messing around with my profile.
Where are the "Bernie" avatar images again? I looked through the categories but can't find anything Bernie.

(5,069 posts)how do they get added.....
I've been to the 'administrative tools' menu (or whatever the name is). I saved an avatar. But when I cut and pasted it in, I got a message saying that the file was too large.
Please advise (for the technically challenged).
when it asks for a link just right click on the image you want and copy/paste according to the instructions.

(5,069 posts)I'm assuming one tries to upload one's own avatar because Bernie's avatars are not on the list of politicians.
So...............
I saved the chosen avatars through downloading on my computer.
Then I go through the browse button to cut and paste. But when I paste an avatar, I can't save because the avatar is greater than 10 kb....That's the msg. I keep getting....

(6,323 posts)On post 2 all you have to do is follow the link and it takes you to a page with a bunch of Bernie avatars. All I did was right click on the one I wanted and copied the url, didn't do anything else with the picture.
Then I clicked on "My Profile" at the top of the home page and then clicked on the "edit" button next to the signature line at the bottom. When it opens up just paste the url in and your done. I click on my "Enter" button just to make sure it's accepted.
The image is already on DU, you just need to point you signature line to it.
Hope that helps.

(5,069 posts)I got the menu that says:
open link
open link in new tab
open link in new window
new tab
etc.,
etc.,
etc.
I never saw anything about copying url - I do know url's fairly well as I've copied videos.

(6,323 posts)I'm using Chrome but I also have problems with DU. Any post with over 65 to 100 replies sends code back to me when I click it.
Finding out what browser your using is a good start but doesn't mean I can fix it. No one's been able to fix my problem above, I'm told it's a server issue.
Let's start with what browser your using and if your connected to an ISP or going through Yahoo, etc...
