Tomorrow is going to be all about waving hands

Good grief!

Bernie is a hand talker, he always has been. Do we really need the at least 5 threads already started about that? Tomorrow it will be the meme of the day. Can't vote for him, he gestures too much.

In GD , like firecrackers. I would link to them but I don't want to give them any more credence. Hopefully, there will be a flurry and then die away quickly. The only one that seems to stick is Berniebros.

They emulate my own emotion. I am too angry at my government. I am tired of being asked to sit down and wait for action. His physical communication with his hands exemplifies that and I've never had a problem with it.

Hell, if he took the microphone in his hand and walked out in front of his podium and started pacing back and forth while going on a rant, I would be ecstatic.

Essentially, I want George Carlin body language on stage from my next president.

He is very emotional. This is just who he is. I keep refreshing the front page and there they are. Why is he pointing at Hillary? Why is he sticking his fingers in Hillary's face? Maybe he should nominate Jan Brewer as Vice President (Clever I give them that), and more. Now they will say it is disrespecting her. That is how it will be spun, I can guarantee it.

22. Rightwingers (including Hill) laugh when confronted with truth.

I've seen them do it repeatedly, for years. That laugh is a way of both dismissing the importance of truth and deflecting attention away from it.

I think it hints at something profoundly dislodged and debased in a person. If there were a broad category of "selling one's soul to the devil" -- whether literally or figuratively -- and if it existed on a continuum with zero as "unsold" and 10 as sold out (or even soul-dead), I'd put Bernie close to zero and her up quite high. There seems to be a point, probably around 4 or 5 on the scale, where the whole notion of truth, fact, sincerity -- even caring -- becomes extraneous and amusing, something no longer necessary, a kind of joke.

I think that's the place where Hillary's laugh comes from. And that is why it seems so odd and out of place to those of us lower on the scale. I also think it makes lying very smooth and easy, almost second nature, because it no longer counts for anything. It no longer registers for the person.

What's interesting is that we've seen it in Bill, in Chelsea (e.g., when she was lying about Bernie's single payer plan) and also in some of of their supporters, the ones who will say anything, no matter how untrue, and then respond to sincerity or facts from us with ROFL smilies.

It's pretty sick.

What a non-issue. If that's the best they got....

Besides, as a person that knows sign language, I think he doesn't gesture enough.

This has been the best debate I've seen so far. Bernie is tearing it up! Plus, I think their podiums were a little close together. I like your comment though about not gesturing enough, it made me smile. They are talking about such important things, this should not be a thing.
