(17,064 posts)If she doesn't score a knockout in Nev and SC the PTB are going to pull the plug on her and step out PlanB. Perhaps that's why the DNC just decided to allow large donations from lobbyists.

(14,881 posts)She and her surrogates are having to spend time and $$ trying to raise $$ to keep up with Bernie. He was able to outspend her 3:1 on advertising in the last 2 weeks of NH. And then we gave him his huge boost post NH landslide.
And a one-off Nevada poll shows Bernie closed a 30 or 40 point gap between December and NH, so they're dead even there. And Bernie's internal polling shows him gaining in *every* demographic group. Especially young poc.
So they're throwing yet another lifeline to the HRC Titanic.

(5,668 posts)said he sw a problem with Hillary's Super Tuesday plan . Republicans have been there before and we laughed at them for it. Now it's our turn and the'll laugh at us for being even more stupid. Hopefully we won't let Republicans get the last laugh. Go Bernie, the best shot at civil rights for all we have at the moment. And maybe some light push on Warrent to endorse.

Also in the first report Joy interviewed an older black woman in S.C. saying she will follow the young people. It was *changed this morning in the group segment to a clip of the lady being asked her thoughts on Hillary.
*WATCH VIDEO, SAT. Feb 13 Today Joy Reid's talk with news commenters on S.C. black voters.

I think the next question will be if Bernie loses white voters as he gains black ones. We need to watch for that and be ready for it.

(1,554 posts)I was remembering seeing "Ready for Hillary" bumper stickers and giving people the thumbs up. Can not even stand to see her now. Very disappointing campaign she is running.
I always wanted Bernie to run, as a long time fan of Brunch with Bernie on Thom Hartmann's show, but never expected to see him so close. I had faith, but now am really confident he will win.
Glamrock
(11,794 posts)Obviously, his message is the whole enchilada. But, he really developed enough of a movement to get off to a pretty good start don "Brunch". I know Thom's show was how I met Bernie. Think that statement's true for a lot of us here.

He knew he would be putting himself and his family in danger and said he wouldn't do it if he wouldn't have millions backing him up. Bless him for taking the risk. The Movement is well underway and will continue regardless of the shenanigans by the corrupt Party elite.

(34,825 posts)Mook (...Mook.) already started the lowering of expectations in SC in that not at all panicked memorandum emphasizing their impending domination on Super Tuesday. Who knows where they'll move the goalposts once that doesn't pan out, because she isn't going to win in California.

(14,459 posts)That's the entire point-the change movement is disliked because it will change things. If they honestly thought they could marginalize Sanders, they'd give him the key to the WH right now.
