Unrealistic is expecting a leopard to change it's spots.
Hillary gave a good close last night but it was just words- Many of them appropriated from Bernie in hopes of getting her elected. I have no belief or experience that they represent her real priorities. There are too many other words and actions from her past telling me otherwise. War Votes. Kissinger praise. Wall Street speeches. Bush talking points. Walmart board stints. Finding legal weasel ways of coordinating with a super PAC? Really?? That same person is gonna get the shady money OUT of politics?
I appreciate Bernie's lifelong stances, judgement and priorities and that is why I want to hire him as our next president.
Hillary tells me that Bernie is unrealistic for some un referenced analysis. Even if I ceded her point, his correct plan can be tweaked. Her weak status quo vision still leads us towards more of the same problems.
Hillary's Obamacare numbers are a big problem. To say that only 10 percent of the country now needs to be covered for success of Obamacare is a flawed and misleading vision. My family is covered by Obamacare, we still find it unaffordable healthcare because of the high deductibles and bad practices of the for profit industry.
We would gladly pay slightly higher taxes for full coverage.
My 20 ish daughter recently went into an urgent care facility was told her care was covered under insurance and came out with a bill for $4000 not covered by insurance. This for profit craziness must stop.
Bernie is Right about Campaign Finance Reform.
Bernie is Right about Healthcare as a Right for all Americans.
Bernie is Committed to helping the Poor and the Disadvantaged and He really will make it a priority of his administration.
Bernie Supports the Middle Class and the Unions, not trade deals that ship our jobs elsewhere.
I can see Bernie's history on this. I can Trust Him. This is who he is.
Trust Hillary? That feels unrealistic.

(17,276 posts)She viciously attacked Obama, screaming, "All he has is a speech!" And, "But he can't win!!!" Sarcastic and mocking, and she turned me off of her completely!
Then to hear her listing out all of Obama's accomplishments last night, and try as hard as she could to identify herself with him and his accomplishments! It just makes me laugh...or cry.
Well he did win and he had a lot more than a speech, so there.
I also didn't like how she said "I" and "me" and "myself" throughout the debate a lot more than she talked about America or the people of this country. Shows who she cares the most about.

(5 posts)I'm so sorry to highjack the thread. I'm a frequent reader but never post, so I'm unable to start my own thread.
I have a friend who is using a video from Louder With Crowder to prove that Sander's plan will not work financially. I refuse to even watch this video because I'm looking at the article titles and the whole page is filled with racism, Islamophobia and anti-feminist rants.
Does anyone have any other articles or sites that I can provide? I have linked the tables from Sander's website.
Thanks!
