I'm going to the dispensary tomorrow

Anyone have a preferred strain? I'm thinking about an eighth of Durban Poison and an eighth of Girl Scout Cookies, which is a local favorite. I love my dispensary. QPC on Evergreen way in Everett if anyone's in the area. They're a little flaky, but in really nice way.

1. Those are both good for a lot of folks.

One of these days I would like to grow a Durban Poison. I've never seen it at the dispensaries here on the East side of the state, but I'm sure it will show up.

4. I've quit trying to grow my own

It's very discouraging to work through a six month process, then lose it all to mildew because the rains begin.

5. I agree, and it's not for everyone. It was illegal for so long that really good info on growing

is hard to come by.

I did find that by using Neem meal, rosemary, high ph water and hydrogen peroxide that I could get control of that stuff, but it is a trial and error process.
But you really have to be there every day, until you have your routine established.

The reward becomes a more consistent product, and if, like me, you don't really have anyone else to count on, also that you no longer have to rely on the vagaries of people and the market.

But there is nothing like working hard on it for a few months and then opening your tent to how pretty it is - almost looked like it snowed - only to finally realize you are looking at powdery mildew.

DAMN IT!!!

It was hard, but I saw that as a learning opportunity, and took it. A bit costly, but good, I think.

2. Harlequin

Low THC/high CBD strain. I usually get a little 'buzz' for 20 minutes or so, but my knee pain melts right down and goes away for several days.

6. Let me state how jealous that I am

"I'm going to the dispensary" are words that have never crossed my lips.

I don't even know what a dispensary looks like. I've only seen photos and read descriptions. It's the year 2015, and stoners (at least in my state) are the last ones to get their rights.

7. This one is two bare concrete rooms connected by a narrow hallway

There's a distinct underground vibe. But there is a lot of weed in the back room and they were busy. These places must have serious security issues, given the nature of their product. And the number on the lid of each mason jar isn't the price per gram, it's the suggested donation.
