Gonzaga has never gotten this far...but has consistently placed
in the over all tournament.

They are due and this just may be their year.

They have a strong team...but many critics thought they didn't have
the experience, maturity or the depth to get to this.

being a person of smaller statue, I never played or followed basketball. I think Gonzaga was rated # 3 and sc # 7. I only rooted for Gonzaga because they are from the state of WA (blue state) and SC is a red state. Although to be fair, Gonzaga is located in a very red portion of the state.

is located in the most Democratic county in the state. Voted over 60% Clinton.

(but, sadly, the rest of the state is pretty much a disaster.)
