BS will be 150 or less 2 hours after eating. Are you taking insulin or pills? It is a very difficult disease we have that is an endless struggle. Just do the best you can and forgive yourself when numbers aren't so great. I understand completely.

Melatonin increases the insulin receptors making what you have or take go further. Both type1 & type 2.

The soccer exersize, the toilet, that looks like your sitting but w/o a chair against the wall helps get insulin absorbing more consistently day to day. That 2nd tip is for insulin use.

I've been on insulin 29 years soon. I just started the Freestyle Libre, the glucometer is the other sensor. With the Libre I scan the thing in my arm, so I'm testing much more frequently. Maybe just try for a month or two to get a handle of what foods and meals spike your sugar. A thing I do is delay the fruit or desert if I'm not low.

Have you tried some fairly strict carb restriction (less that 30G a day)? There's a good chance you can get your blood glucose down to more or less normal levels with very low carbs. It's easier for some people than for others to follow (I find it to be a pretty easy diet to follow), but there is all kinds of evidence showing this kind of diet is extremely effective for T2 Diabetes sufferers.
