DU Community Help
Related: About this forumWait a minute. I had a post hidden - so I can no longer post?
Can I post here?
A DUer gave an example of an offensive, sexist remark. I asked her about another, she agreed that it, too, was offensive, and someone decided that to alert?
When a thread is about offensive sexist remarks, where does one draw the line?
When I am a juror, I try to read the whole thread to the context. These jurors apparently did not.
And... I always give an explanation. I think that "no explanation provided" is lazy and cowardly.

p.s. sorry to hear about the hide. They're never pleasant. OP locks are a different matter however as they have no consequences that I'm aware of, and you're usually free to repost locked OPs in other forums. It's a shame more locked LBN OPs aren't reposted in GD for example as they're often very good and would be appreciated by the DU community.

(47,470 posts)because a moderator thinks it does not fit, and a hidden post where it is clear the jurors did not bother to read the whole thread.
