questions about ignore and juries

can anyone link to a more detailed explanation of the effects of ignore and mail ignore?

I seem to remember something about not being called to juries on people YOU ignore, does the reverse happen? Can a person you are ignoring be on a jury for you?

what about mail ignore? if you are blocking only mail from someone, can you be on a jury for them or they on one for you?

does anyone know where I can find this information? Skinner?

while we are asking, obviously a person on your jury blacklist can't be a juror on your post, but can you still be a juror on them, providing you are not on their list?

The reverse does not happen. People you are ignoring can be on a jury for your post.

Detailed Explanation of the Jury Selection Process

For those who are interested, this sections provides a detailed breakdown of the Jury selection process.

Immediately after a Community Standards alert is sent our software begins to seat a Jury by randomly flagging members who are currently browsing DU. Members are excluded from serving if:

they have their "Willingness to serve on a DU Jury" option set to "Unwilling"
they are ignoring the alerted member
they are blocking DU mail from the alerted member
they have repled to the alerted member within the last 24 hours
they have alerted on the alerted member within the last 24 hours
they have posted in the thread which contains the alerted post
they are on the alerted member's Jury Blacklist

so if you are ignoring or have replied to or alerted on the person in the past 24 hours, or posted in the thread in question YOU won't be selected for a jury

but they can be on a jury for you as long as they aren't ignoring, have replied or alerted or posted in the thread.

the only real sure way to keep a person off of a jury on one of your posts is to put them on the jury blacklist.
