Feel like an idiot asking this

but I've searched and double searched to see if an opinion piece I read this morning in the LA Times had been posted, but can't find anything. DU is such a huge site (a good thing) that I'm hesitant to post it. What a wimp I am! Not even sure which thread I should use! Probably Politics 2012. Ack, thanks for putting up me!

If it doesn't show up there, it most likely has not been posted.

What's the topic?

just got up from a nap. Major health crap. "Not Fade Away" is my fav song lately. I suppose I should vent on one of the support groups.
Anyway it was a column in LA Times. "Advice to California's GOP" by Steve Lopez (one of my favs) as is Sandy Banks. Their columns are almost always great.

I belong to another forum that is totally unrelated to politics (thank goodness as there are some real asshats on there) but they make a big deal if you post something that is already on there.

Just use Google to find the LA Times, and then use the search there to find those columns.

appropriate.

GD moves really quickly, so, were it me, I would probably put it in Good Reads.

BTW, I did not look at the article, so can't comment on the content.

Best of luck!

The only forum in which you have to worry about posting a duplicate is the Latest Breaking News Forum. In that forum, if your news article is from within the last 12 hours, you can generally just scan the first page of LBN. Otherwise, there is absolutely no harm in posting. Also, Steve Lopez is my favorite columnist!
