1. There are links at the bottom of every page, "about" and "terms of service"

3. Here are a couple of helpful links
And at the top of each forum or group there's a link for About this Forum or Group which explains the Standard of Purpose for that particular group or forum. But it's really pretty simple, as long as you're here to support Democrats and progressive ideas and don't attack anybody you should be fine. Welcome to DU!

4. Related
I've tried to report a post several times for abuse, but no action has been taken. The post in question is by someone who was apparently banned by DU shortly after posting it.
Any tips as to the most effective way to request that a post is removed for abuse? Thanks! |

5. "Alert abuse" reports usually go to jury
And the jury determines if the post really is abuse or not. If a post has been juried or is more than a certain age, the alert goes to Admin for secondary appeal. You could try either e-mailing Admin@democraticunderground.com or use one of the other addresses on the Contact page (see link at bottom of each page)

6. Thanks
It seemed as if it was just being ignored - I will try again!

7. Exactly what Maeve said
If a post is alerted for whatever reason, it goes to a jury where randomly chosen members vote whether it breaks rules/norms or not. The thing is, it only goes to a jury once, it cannot be juried again. And if it's over 24 hours old it goes to the admins, not to a jury. If you have concerns about the procedure or any further questions, you can contact the administrators via the Ask The Administrators Forum:
