It is insulting that the pandemic (which would be drawing so much more attention if it was any other group killing any other group in such numbers) is used as a means to score points in a debate about guns.

Nine women each week in the us are killed by male partners or ex partners using guns, on average? That's less than half. What about the other 12? They just get left out in the margins in the effort to advance some other agenda.

which is why a woman's chance of being killed rise dramatically if there is a gun in the home. They can turn a violent situation into a deadly one.

Guns are used in the murders of THOUSANDS MORE people per year, glomming onto domestic violence specifically in order to use it as a chit in the pro/anti gun debate is something best left in the gun forums imo.
