how are our colorado women doing?

one in particular, the one in boulder.... give a wave.

i went on a couple week trip to the northwest with my boys the end of this summer. i did something really really stupid. we headed straight to colorado and silverton in the mountains. we love the town. we had visited once, so i planned to take us thru there on our way to the northwest. i am deathly afraid of heights. to such an extreme. but, this was going to be my summer where i bucked up and faced my fear. husband drove us into silverton the last time.

well. by the time we got to silverton i was a mess. i could not figure how i was going to get my boys off the mountain. considered hiring someone to drive us down. the fear was so great, i was shaking internally. well into the early mornings. that has never happened to me before. i was truly traumatized.

after that, any bump in the road put me in terror. lol. and i had so much more mountain road to face.

i see this, and i do not think colorado will get me on another of their mountain road. your mountain roads take the cake. hands down.

our thoughts are with you
