Happy birthday, Jocelyn Bell Burnell! (discovered radio pulsars)

Bell Burnell dsicovered radio pulsars as an undergraduate. She was persistent in recording the anomalies which her supervisor berated her for paying any attention to. He later was awarded the Nobel Prize, which he shared with someone else who didn't discover them. She was nevertheless honored by many other organizations for her hard work and discovery.

She has also served as the president of the Royal Astronomical Society and president of the Institute of Physics.

She is 69 today.
