Right on the heels of an IBD/TIPP poll showing Hillary's Iowa lead dropping to a mere 4 points, a supporting ARG poll rolls out showing Sanders has taken a 3 point lead in this crucial state.
These are the first 2 polls out of Iowa this year. Coming out of December, Clinton ran an average 16 points ahead of Sanders. The latest RCP Average of Polls has cut Clinton's lead down by more than 10 points, with only 5.8% between her and Bernie!

BTW - The RCP Average also shows Bernie's lead in NH at 4.3%!
Clinton's poll #s are taking body shots, but NH & IA are just the prelude. If Clinton loses both states...hell, if Clinton loses just IA, she may not have lost the battle, but she will definitely have lost her most formidable weapon -- the sweet smell of inevitability.

(24,411 posts)800 came out last night for his rally in my small town, which is a suburb of Des Moines. It was frickin 6 degrees last night. But people came out anyway.
I was charged with entering the names, addresses and phone numbers of people who signed in when they came to the event. People came from all over. It was a high-energy, enthusiastic crowd.
And we got lots of contact information and many of those people will be canvassing and calling for us--and getting Bernie supporters to their canvases!

(2,510 posts)among young people, the group who arguably propelled Obama to victory in Iowa in 2008. They showed up and voted that time! I think they will do so again.
I think there's no question that Bernie has already won the "excitement primary",
and I think that will make the difference for him in Iowa's caucus voter turnout.

(16,916 posts)A new Monmouth poll has Bernie up by 14 in NH, and the RCP Average has Sanders up in that state by over 6%!!
Honestly, I was nervous about the data breach story, but Sanders played it like a pro and turned it to a PR advantage.
We are living in an historic moment, and America is feeling the Bern, baby!

I don't know about you peeps, but it's clear to me that Sanders has peaked (and/or) plateaud.
