Planned Parenthood Tells Millions Fighting For Change To Get Lost

Is their leadership so stupid that they think the millions of people supporting Bernie, and real change can be ignored?

This is the stupidest thing PP has ever done.

By far.

Telling people fighting for change they support the current government by gravy train.

Imagine when Hillary becomes the nominee how all the dirty deals will be exposed day by day. The people won't be able to tell the difference from what Hillary, and Bill actually did, and what is crap being thrown at the wall.

Why are we asking for this?

Bernie is a thousand times safer candidate in my opinion.

I like Hillary, but I know whats coming.

My friend told me yesterday "Hillary belongs in jail, go you agree" and I said if Hillary belongs in jail so does Trump.

I don't give a damn about the imaginary crap like Benghazi, or emails. What I do care about is all these back room endorsement deals blowing up in our nominee's face.

Maybe PP just didn't 'feel the Bern.' Remember, your slogan is 'feel the Bern,' not 'feel the Bern, or else. . .'

"Telling people fighting for change they support the current government by gravy train. "

The current government (Congress) is working overtime to DESTROY Planned Parenthood.

I hope to hell you don't demonize Planned Parenthood this way when you knock doors and talk to undecided primary voters and soft/persuadable HRC primary voters. Because if you do, you are going to alienate them.

understand that throwing fits is not equivalent to a coherent argument for why one should pick their candidate over another. And so many are howling about how PP has alienated people, while forgetting that they too are doing the same thing.

43. I know and I'm glad so many are making that clear, it's just the people like the one who posted

above you, who really feel the need to make rude statements for no reason and with no wit, kinda make it refreshing to hear from the non crazy people!

There are so many virulently angry people who are busy frothing at anything that anyone says at all, if they feel that it merely challenges them on anything. I know that sane Bernie supporters who can handle disagreement and discussion like adults are the majority but you guys don't seem to post as much online.

The repeating of the right wing talking points especially about PP really annoys me. And challenging the points made by referencing the article that the poster on one thread had posted got me banned because of the rather thin skin of the host.

I long for the days when the Dems acted like adults about things online, that's how I made it through the Bush years with my sanity intact!

The other two, not in my mind.

She is harsh, dismissive and defensive.

Is she well informed? She voted us into war, she is willing to send children back to Guatemala and Honduras which she help create with her "diplomacy". She says she cares about women and children but her time as SOS killed many brown women and children around the world.

What is the use of having information if you are going to allow for collateral damage and not give a flying f*ck about who dies?

Sadly, that is what this endorsement does.

An institution that has had abroad political support because of the important work it does, has foolishly decided to become a partisan political organization.

And I think it is because of PP Action Committee insiders wanting to jump on the establishment bandwagon for their fellow insider, Mrs. Clinton.

This isn't going to help Clinton ... it will backfire, just like this kind of steamroller tactic upended her in 2008.
Progressive activist Democrats don't like being ordered around by the Establishment-Clinton-Democrats and that is how this is feeling.

We are not conservative Repuglicans!
No, we will not march in-step just because all you elites at the top try and tell us we have to because you know what is best for all the rest of us!

33. They did that in 2004, no one whined. Um, it would seem that this "backlash" of whining about

PP and withdrawing supposed donations from PP and the many women, men and children it uses those funds to help is probably going to backfire, but on those acting out, not Clinton or PP.

Democrats and women don't like it when you start punishing PP because you disagree with them politically, this is feeling like every other attack on women's health and PP for the sake of political games.

You sound exactly like the CONS when you repeat their talking points verbatim.

What elites are you speaking of,the majority who support Clinton? Funny, but you're the one who seems to be dictating and blackmailing when you don't get your way. March whatever way you wish, just don't expect anyone to believe you when you pretend that support of women's basic human rights, and access to healthcare is of importance to you, when your actions prove otherwise here.

And all because you didn't get your way.

15. Sorry, but that's way over the top

I don't think it was wise of them to take sides now in a contested Democratic Primary season between candidates who all strongly support them before a single vote is cast. It puts PP in the news and in discussions for the wrong reason when what they really need to do is demonstrate how broad the base of support for them is rather than becoming a talking point for anyone during a Democratic Party struggle.

But no, they did not tell millions of people fighting for change to get lost. They expressed a preference for a candidate.

PP is fighting for the lives of the the women who need it to be there. For the women who come to PP, there IS NO ALTERNATIVE. Abortion is only 3% of what they do, but PP's enemies want to take EVERYTHING away and they will not replace it with diddly squat. Need a Pap smear? Hey, here's a pregnancy crisis center!

Who's going to help them? Certainly not the GOP. Bernie, who thinks everything is about the economy and has never focused on anything else?

Or Hillary, who has been a feminist since her college years and was making a name for herself nationally as a young lawyer in the field of women's and children's rights, when her husband got elected to his first term as governor?
