What it is ain't exactly clear. It's been a little while since Camp Weathervane has been pushing national polls, wonder why?

(48,181 posts)Iowa and New Hampshire. That would result in both a panic in the Clinton campaign and a boost for Sanders in the subsequent contests as voters become aware of his viability.
I expect that the Clinton campaign knows New Hampshire us a lost cause and is going to start resetting expectations.

(50,986 posts)candidates, I hear things the Republican candidates won't address. When the Republican candidates speak, I hear dog-whistle racism and ethnic bigotry. I hear greed and a failure to recognize the dignity of work and the plight of the poor.
With Bernie Sanders, I hear language aimed at lifting citizenship in an individual life, a call for corporations to be better citizens and for ordinary citizens to be more engaged in, and better represented by, government.
From Governor O'Malley I hear an intelligent voice whose efforts have not registered in polling but whose aim has been very true. He is more valuable than he is regarded in the media. He is owed a much broader audience.
From Secretary Clinton I hear a world voice. She carries a global resume, not only for purposes of applying for the particular job she's applying for, but in the sense that she represents an accomplished adult.
Let any of our three step off a plane in any part of the world and not any of the multiple greed-hogs, war-mongers, hacks, lairs, propagandists, and assholes who comprise the GOP primary field. Let our three -- whichever one prevails in our primary -- go on to win the general and represent the United States.

I have a favorite too. But I did want to offer some praise for the good blue team and slam the bad red team as hard as I could.
Folks start to votin' in less than a month!

(50,986 posts)usually are, this batch is even worse.
Pretty scary stuff to hear Ted Cruz tell a woman that if he were president he would deport her. Cruz claims a fervent belief in the ministry of Jesus. I'm secular as they come, but even I can sense that Jesus wouldn't have told anybody, "Left to me, you'd be on the next camel caravan the hell out of here."

(87,050 posts)That anyone with the avatar of our great Senator from Vermont would spew such filth.
George, later that night another member attacked William in a PM. They ridiculed him on the death of his partner. "How did that work out for you William" Who does that? Crying. Who the hell does that?

I thought you were commenting on Hillary's recent (and now today larger) drop in the national polling averages.
What is the duck and dodge about? I started this thread to discuss the polling trends.
So anything you can do to make things clearer for me is appreciated.

I think the original post should have resulted in a PPR for the poster. I have written the admins at least two notes about it.
I think this misguided hide of sheshe's post validates that.

(24,544 posts)I've looked at the link and it shows five polls. Hillary is winning every last one of the. The lowest has her winning by a massive 15 point margin, the highest has her winning by 31.
So I don't know what the OP thinks is "happening" but I don't think it's what he thinks it is.

(67,782 posts)....national polls a few times in the last week or two. As far as Clinton is concerned, still looking good!
Including today's Faux "News" poll, still a 20+ lead. And no, this is NOT where Clinton was vs. Obama back in 2008.

(9,497 posts)This has nothing to do with the OP.
Edited to add.
The words used are cruel whether they are Gay or straight. And the the victim has also said some pretty cruel words as well.
I agree with neither of them.
I also think this is drama that has nothing to do with the OP.

(87,050 posts)Multiple, multiple alerts on that post, not just by me.
Silence. Silence. Silence.
Well it has to do with the integrity of what they post. Who gives credence to a poster that posts filth to another DUer.
Do you agree with what was said? That was disgusting.

A solid 5 point drop since Dec 27th.

(67,782 posts)....and here, 20.4%:
People have been crowing about how this was in 2008, but Clinton was never above 50% in 2008 and except for a few weeks in the summer, has never been below 50% this year.

(26,449 posts)Was it rude? Yes! Incredibly rude! I wholly acknowledge that. Sometimes rude is apropos. I'm not always rude, but when I am I try to be creative.
Nor will people following me around with crocodile tears for their "sweet william" who deserved it completely, posting it as a non sequitur in replies to me change any of that. It's funny how they only post the one paragraph and not the entire reply, eh? Forget the OP replied to is one where he uses a protected group to accuse people trying to escape a hostile environment of doing what he actually did. Context is relevant.
I fully expected that to be hidden, it never occurred to me that a jury might agree that it needed to be said, but then they did.
Tell you what, you get ol billy boy to apologize for his behavior and then I'll consider apologizing.

(67,782 posts)....ratcheted up their personal attacks on his opponent and her supporters.
Although Sanders has changed positions on a number of important issues, they portray the Clinton Campaign as changing, i.e., "Camp Weathervane".
Unfortunately that is some people's way of conducting "civil political discussion". Too bad they don't realize that such behavior on this site isn't going to advance the cause or position in the electorate of their candidate.
Thankfully Clinton's supporters are out campaigning FOR their candidate, not against her opponent.
