A suggestion for Bernie supporters
Heres a real suggestion for Bernie supporters.
Pledge to stay at home on ekection day unless the DNC plays fair with Bernie. Simple. If they REALLY care more about beating the GOP than backing a specific candidate then they'll back down and let the primary play out relatively fairly. Because honestly if this is how the DNC is going to behave, I want NO part of their chosen candidates.

2. A 'pledge' isn't going to be necessary.
Like Bill Press said, "I smell a rat."
I think the biases of chair Wasserman-Schultz and the DNC is so obvious that if Wasserman-Schultz doesn't resign and if the committee doesn't rectify this fiasco in very short order then a lot of Sanders supporters will never, never vote for Mrs. Clinton -- never. |

What would be the point? He has almost no chance of winning regardless. Looks like its all going to be over on super Tuesday. What the motivation? I dont get it.

According to some here, Hillary - the clear and undisputed front-runner - colluded with DWS and the DNC to "set up" the BS campaign knowing it could potentially destroy not only her front-runner status, but her bid for the nomination and the presidency.
Makes so much sense, right? ![]() |

36. Are you going to hold your breath too?
Sanders isn't being mistreated. His team fucked up and then threw a hissy fit about it. If they had just admitted it, said here's how we're going to fix it" this would have been over by lunch time. Instead they stomp their feet and huff and puff. They elected to obfuscate and say it was a low level staffer when it turns out it was four staffers, one their data lead, and another high level staffer who took steps to hide what he was doing.
You can stay at home if you want. But in the end, you're only going to hurt yourself. Not everything is some great big conspiracy to get Sanders. Yes if they had just accidentally breached the data and immediately pulled out, it was nothing. The DNC didn't make the Sanders team screw this pooch. They did it all to themselves. Likewise Florida and Michigan weren't screwed by having their delegate counts halved in 2008. There are rules set out. Play by them or don't. But if you don't, you don't get to whine about getting your hand slapped. |

I'm a Hillary supporter. I don't love her, I just want a winner that can place some SCOTUS appointments.
I'm almost 50. I see what millennials have to deal with and have a lot of sympathy. They've drawn the short stick in many ways. With that said, if a GOP candidate wins, I'll probably get a decent tax cut. I don't need it or really want it, but there it is. For a millennial, I don't think you're going to quite get that benefit. If you all want to Bern it down, that's your prerogative. My point is only that that attitude is just a cutting off your own nose. Yeah, maybe after a really bad GOP presidency it'll all magically change, but probably not. Imagine a 7-3 or 8-2 SCOTUS. |
