(63,708 posts)I howled with laughter upon hearing that a few months back when the MSM were talking her up. It is patently ridiculous.

(23,664 posts)And what amazes me is that only 42% of those who responded to that poll said it made them less likely to vote for romney.
It was condescension and pandering all rolled up into one big ball of bullshit.
It was so inept it made me LOL and it was such an obvious suckup to women I had to lock the gun cabinet to keep my wife from shooting out the TV like Elvis when he saw Robert Goulet.

(63,708 posts)he just won't watch political shows, period. He's a good, strong liberal Dem but he doesn't want to get upset the way I do.
So now all I do is shout at the TV...

(8,377 posts)Romney is running out of "secret weapons".
Personally I find it offensive in the extreme when people of such obvious privilege try to sell themselves as just common folks. I would be more inclined to think positively about them it they were just honest.
I think that was why the Kennedys were well liked. They didn't deny their wealth and privilege. They didn't try to sell themselves are who they were not. Their message was "Yes we were born of privilege, and we understand it is a different America for others. We will work as hard as we can to improve life for all Americans."

(21,589 posts)It reeked of her acceptance that in her life and religion she accepts that she is a second class citizen and decision maker. I found it both pandering and revealing. I don't think it works for many women.

(11,609 posts)all polls like this are worthless since the sample is not randomly chosen. Ignore.
