If You Don't Support Bernie....

Don't complain when you get what you deserve.

Bernie is the only candidate that will attempt to bring us a better world.

All of the others will bring more of the same, letting the banks, and billionaires run everything.

The Truth.....

So don't complain if the banks are responsible for 70% of GDP in a few years.

80%.....

Maybe this lecture of yours is more appropriate for the people willing to throw this country to the batshit crazy fascist cavemen if they don't get what they want.

You are so faithful, so loyal, he should bring you roses and take you out to dinner or something. Or invite you to the inaugural ball if Hill and Bernie don't make it. Or if he's the VP. You've earned it.

I think I'll take this opportunity to say that during the first debate I noticed O'Malley's ears -- and realized I had never seen such a perfect pair of ears before. Like a gracefully softened version of elf ears, just right and quite charming.

Anyway, kudos on your loyalty.

We are in her age group and to a one, we cannot stand her. I don't dislike Hillary, I simply don't like her. She represents everything I fought against in the 1960s, 1970s. She is NOT a liberal in the true sense of the word and frankly, I simply do not trust her. IMO, she has been caught in too many lies.

...the line about how Bernie is the only candidate who will attempt to bring us a better world. It just sounded a bit messianic to me, and, I think we need to be careful not to construct some kind of messianic savior out of a mere political candidate.

But we agree on the need to get more people involved in the political process. Imagine if the poor voted in mass numbers...

He repreents something much bigger than himself. He happenes to be the one running who connects with that.

Sure people (including me) admire and like him because he's honest and committed and straightforward, in contrast to your typical Democratic Waffler, (male or female).

But more important is the total frustration and anger with a merger of Politics/Corporate Power that is screwing us all with a smile.

And,m in a more positive sense, a belief that we can do better.

Hillary has made Bernie a better Senator. He is coming out of his shell and actually talking about his views to people other than his weekly radio audience.

President Obama has also made Bernie a better Senator. The 2010 ACA inspired Bernie so much that he finally came up with his own Single-Payer bill in 2013.

There's a whole world of people outside of Vermont.

How many those feeling the bern sat on their votes during the midterm and assured Republican control of Congress yet again? Short-sighted and petulant. All power is not vested in the presidency or the ability to issue executive orders. At some point you have to write laws. That's the job of the legislature.

There will be an uprising. We PEON TAXPAYERS have already WASTED $12.8 TRILLION if OUR tax money bailing out their useless asses and we won't be doing that again, EVER.

How this works, yallow - all these Third Way/DLCers will vote for MORE OF THE SAME, because they themselves are most likely part of that corrupt system, ie; wealthy, own a corporation, work in the executive branch of a corporation, work on corrupt, GREEDY Wall St. or have inherited wealth, and really don't give a crap about the country as a whole. They certainly don't have empathy for "The least if these."

After they vote for MORE OF THE SAME and when the shit hits the fan again, and it most definitely will, they will feign ignorance of the situation or claim they never voted for Hillary. That's exactly what Repubs did when BUSH destroyed our economy. The Third Wayers will hedge their bets on OUR LIVES and play stupid when it all blows up again.

Well, the next time, we won't be bailing out their asses.

60. He's the only one for the job!!!!!

When this line is trotted out we all know smoke is being blown up our asses. Your op is the perfect parody of purity and is not based in reality.

"Bernie is the only candidate who will attempt to bring us a better world."

By by reality. Hello offensiveness. Hello purity. Sorry O'Malley supporters, according to the op he wouldn't even try. Get that. Wouldn't even try.

62. If the voters decide that he should be the nominee of the

Democratic Party, I'll be an enthusiastic supporter of Sanders during the general election campaign. I doubt that will be the case, however.

65. Thanks for the FUD.

It smells a bit desperate, but it's good FUD.

66. Oh goodie, ...

somebody else with a "Don't Blame Me, I voted for (other guy)" bumper sticker.

I hate those things, and I'm disgusted by folks who feel they can tell me what I "deserve". Very, very condescending.

74. Sorry Lanny

Fight for real change, or continue playing victim.

The choice is yours.

REAL CHANGE

69. I wish you guys would stop threatening us

Each voter is capable of looking at the candidates and making a decision. Many of us, and clearly a majority of Democrats nationwide, have chosen Hillary. These endless "if you don't support Bernie you'll get what's coming to you!!!" Chicken little style threads are out of line.

I like Bernie. If he wins, I will support him, and I am glad he is in the race. If Hillary werent running I would support him, but right now I and many other stand with Hillary. Respect that decision.

76. I Absolutely Respect Your Decision

Just don't complain when you keep gettin' what we've all got for the last 40 years.

That's my point.

You could write in Charlie Brown if you want.

It's your decision.

Just remember. Hillary isn't going to change anything.

Not one word in her campaign is about what she will do to make my family's future better.

All bs.

Broad bs.

When she says she will make billionaires pay taxes like the rest of us, now that will be something.

79. I don't think "recommend" means what 40 seem to think it means

This isn't Facebook, you aren't liking your friend's cat pictures or your brother's new job announcement.

A DU "recommend" should mean "this is something insightful that I want others to notice on the main page and come share the experience."

Being lured here to read a "I love Bernie Sanders and you suck if you don't" personal opinion of a sub-300 post new user is not something that should be recommended.
