(67,782 posts)..Sanders and his followers walked out before the JJ Dinner was over.
Iowans take their politics seriously.
Number23
(24,544 posts)He was just leading there by 3-5 points a few weeks ago! That is a massive turnaround. Nothing short of astonishing.
I must have not been paying close enough attention to Iowa recently because that is absolutely astonishing. I'm surprised that there has not been alot of coverage of that really dramatic turnaround.

(18 posts)Paid for Media don't want to report the truth, they can't admit the first without the second, therefore it is ignored.

(24,544 posts)Now, I am a reasonably bright person but I would have not been able to glean that by simply looking at the stars.
I read that in the media. The same media that you are saying "won't admit that he was leading."

(32,886 posts)Exactly. How would you have known that Bernie was leading inIowa before the debates and how did we all know he was leading in New Hampshire before the debates?
We didn't Devine it from the pace of the wind or the phase of the moon, we got it from the media. The same media that Some reality denying Bernie fans would have you believe weren't reporting on him leading before and now are making it up that Hillary is leading.

(67,782 posts)..in the CBS/yougov poll by 43-33. That new poll came out today, too, and now Clinton is ahead by 46-43. Makes sense, Clinton probably got most or all of Biden's support.
Since then, these polls have come out, all with Clinton leading:
(Clinton/Sanders/O'Malley)
Monmouth 10/22 - 10/25 400 LV 4.9 65 24 5 Clinton +41
Loras College 10/19 - 10/22 500 LV 4.4 62 24 3 Clinton +38
CBS/YouGov 10/15 - 10/22 554 LV 6.9 46 43 3 Clinton +3
DMR/Bloomberg 10/16 - 10/19 402 LV 4.9 48 41 2 Clinton +7
Quinnipiac 10/14 - 10/20 592 LV 4.0 51 40 4 Clinton +11

(18,998 posts)I expect the polls taken by the PTB to reflect what they want it to be.
And they have decided that Hillary is the one and they want us to know it is inevitable and that we should all just give up and accept it.
The media is all scripted and the final act is written.
