A Tale of two Men: Why I will not vote for Romney and Ryan by Brian Coffman

One of my 'stringer' essayed this:

"A little bit of time has passed since Mitt Romney made the announcement that his Vice Presidential running mate is going to be Paul Ryan and I must admit that until today I have not had the chance to learn more about the new man that could be just a heart beat away from being the most powerful person in America. That is why I have taken some time today to read up on this guy and learn more about Paul Ryan. What I have learned has made me look at myself and reflect upon my life as well and my conclusions were interesting (at least to me.) So I will share them with you now."

I am sure there are also decent christian people who feel that
their view is ok.

Just hard for 'us' to understand.

3. Why I won't vote for Romney/Ryan

I won't vote for the Romney/Ryan ticket simply because I can count. First, Ryan's budget, in spite of all the GOP blather about debt, does not affect the nation's debt for 30 years. Meanwhile, Romney wants to zero out capital gains taxes and reduce everyone's taxes by 20 percent. Sounds good until you realize Romney paid 13.9% on 21 million last year. Under his plan both the 20% reduction or no capital gains taxes means he pays no taxes at all. Since most millionaires/billionaires similarly pay a lower effective rate, the rich will pay nothing while working stiffs like myself will be left paying 12 to 15%. And what happens when the Federal govt can't support state projects, state taxes, or fees if there are no state taxes, will rise exponentially. Public sector workers will be fired and services will eventually be privatized. The premium support (aka voucher) you receive will not buy you insurance unless you are the healthiest person in the world. But since it does not rise with inflation in health care costs it will eventually be meaningless. The $716 billion Romney/Ryan claims the President has stolen not only helps to insure millions of others, seniors especially, but it was taken from providers like advantage plans who were ripping off seniors. Romney/Ryan puts the doughnut hole back in place for seniors and will cost them an additional $6,000 out of pocket was returning government funds back to the advantage health care providers. As I said, I can count, so why would ever vote for something as absurd as the Romney/Ryan tax plan?
