I like his show , but seldom laugh hard. That bit was darn funny.

Quite the admission there. He also endorsed and supported John Kerry for President and every other Democratic nominee since before he was famous. Were you against all of those nominees too?

of the "47% who would never vote for a socialist", most of them are going to vote R anyway so those votes are not being lost to the socialist moniker., they are gone to any dem. and of the indies, many like bernie's ideas and can learn what the term really means

so scare tactic is not only repugnant, it is ineffective and untrue.

20. Maher was asking questions

Maher was asking questions which voters are asking about socialism. I think people need to know what democratic socialism America has already e.g. Social security, Medicare etc. and what it stills needs for a fairer society. Trump of course is branding Bernie as a commie who gives away everything. Bernie needs to push what new items can be paid for such as single payer (which he did in this video) however he needs to get that message out. People need to be told that it is the 1% who need to contribute in taxes and the big corps who tax dodge. People don't like corporation dodging taxes. Low, middle income workers will be told by lying Republicans that they will have to pay 90% tax.
