It's nice to see Bernie supporters celebrate his first endorsement from a member of Congress

Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) will endorse Bernie Sanders for President.

This is good news for Bernie Sanders.

Can we all now agree that endorsements are a good thing?

and it will include former Clinton superdelegates when they see that Bernie is the champion of the people.

Leave the corporatist shit to the Republicans.

Members of Congress do not choose our presidents.

The voters do that although we are forced to do that through the anachronism known as the electoral college.

Endorsements by Members of Congress are irrelevant.

This one feels good. At the very least it discredits the 'Bernie can't even get endorsements from Congress' narrative.

I congratulate Rep Grijalva for his courage in announcing this endorsement, because he has earned himself a prominent place on the Clinton enemies list.

Maybe his action will inspire timid congresspeople to come out of the closet and express their true opinions.

Even so, each one of those endorsements counts for absolutely zilch in the ballot box.

Those same people will be voting on proposed legislation.

Hardly irrelevant.

I don't need someone else to tell me who to support.

I have a fully functioning brain.
