If Reid is guilty of McCarthyism, then Romney is guilty of Nixonism.

There were many issues with his tax returns.

http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,945108,00.html

The question of whether there was fraud involved in the preparation of former President Richard Nixon's income tax returns was resolved last week. His official tax adviser, Edward L. Morgan, pleaded guilty to conspiring with unnamed others to violate the U.S. tax laws by backdating a deed of Nixon's papers to the National Archives in order to obtain an illegal deduction.

WESSEL: It’s an amazing story that I had no knowledge of until I started working on the book. Richard Nixon, who did not have to disclose his tax returns as a candidate was embarrassed when his tax returns were leaked, and there were stories actually in the Wall Street Journal that revealed that in 1970, 1971, and 1972, he had total income of nearly $800,000 and he had just paid $5,000 in combined federal income taxes. And that turned out to be a huge scandal at the time.

When somebody finally has enough and pops him in the snot locker, he spends the next week or so whinging about what a victim he is.

Release the damned returns, Mitt. That's the only way to make this go away. Or not.

Sounds like we're all guilty. Time for a pardon!
Reid is Right as Rain: and Willard is all Wet.

‘Cause we all have a damn RIGHT to see a Presidential Candidate’s tax returns!
Confession is good for the soul Mitt. Assuming you have one.
So Release your Returns, Mr. Romney …OR… just Return to playing “dressage” with your pet ponies! We’ll understand, I promise.
Unless… perhaps….just perhaps…you’re hiding something dear Willard?
 Just asking.
P.S. By the way, Mr. Mitt: just how DID you manage to stuff all those millions into your tax-loophole IRA account?… while the REST of us poor smucks have strict limits? Inquiring minds want to know.

And you want even MORE tax cuts... for you and your rich buddies, Mitt?
WHAT GALL! These fat cats aren’t satisfied- they want it ALL! …EVERYTHING!!
Like how many silver spoons CAN you stuff into your mouth?

Mitt baby -please- take my advice: if you want to run for dog-catcher THEN keep your precious returns, … and just clean off your car roof. OTHERWISE, put up, …or shut up and go away ….preferably BEFORE the convention.

The super-rich think that they have the God-given right to do anything they want in this great country -while the REST of us get screwed!
ENOUGH!!! The divine right of kings ended a long long time ago Mitt.

And so should your sorry sorry excuse for a candidacy.

7. Romney is the anti-Reagan, which makes him quite like Nixon

Long comments on this topic in the thread below about anti-Romney ads (or it's predecessor?), but here's the short form:

Dubya: Didn't know the truth or care about it.
Reagan: Didn't know the truth, but did care about it (in his imagination).
Nixon: Knew the truth, and didn't care about it (except to "fix" it).

I think Romney is exactly like Nixon, which makes him the polar opposite of Ronald Reagan.

Unfortunately, the other quadrant is for presidents who knew the truth and also respected it, and I'm afraid that most of them have been one-term losers...

Can Al Capone say state he "retroactively" retired from his organized criminal empire?

The answer - obviously is - a resounding NO.

Should we accept the word of Frank Nitti that Al Capone wasn't there at the time of the crimes being commited?

Of Course NOT!

So, why is the main stream media allowing Mitt Romney (Capone) to lie about his Bain Capital August 2001 retire?

How in the hell can the main stream media even dare to suggest that Bain Capital (Nitti) vindicates Romney (Capone)?

All you have to do - is go check out my Tweets' ( @laserhaas01 ) - to see the Public Docket evidences irrefutable;
and the EVENTs that Mitt Romney does not want you to know about.

The Learning Company in 1999 merger with Mattel by Delaware law firm MNAT
Goldman Sachs takes eToys public in 1999
MNAT also represents GSachs in Delaware
Stage Stores 2000 (Paul Traub, Michael Glazer and Barry Gold)
2000 Bain Capital acquisition of Kay Bee (Michael Glazer CEO)

In 2001 MNAT lies and hides the fact of it's connections to becomes eToys law firm

Paul Traub lies in 2001 - to become eToys creditors law firm

Then MNAT and Mr. Traub conspire, collude and scheme to place Barry Gold in as eToys CEO

Where they sold it to Michael Glazer/ Kay Bee/ Bain Capital/ Mitt Romney ILLEGALLY for basically FREE

When a bribe was offered and refused and the Dept of Justice informed

Mitt Romney resigned and a MNAT law firm partner (Colm Connolly) was made the US Attorney in Delaware
where for 7 years Colm refused to investigate/ and - or prosecute Bain Capital & MNAT

even after MNAT confessed to lying under oath to the Federal court 15 times
(did you hear me Martha Stewart)

Mitt Romney could be the 1st POTUS wannabe - who had to plead the 5th
