2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHa! Dallas station just said that Perry risks being booted from debates
Since he only got 0.7% of the votes in NH!! There were more write-in votes than Perry votes!
Apparently, if he is not in SC's top 4, odds are he will definitely be excluded

(36,974 posts)the GOP candidates had to have a certain percentage in certain polls to be eligible to participate in the debates.
It makes sense that now they would also use the vote results as a qualifier.
I think that each of the debate sponsors had their own requirements.
The next debate is sponsored by FoxNews,
then CNN
then MSNBC/NBC
then CNNN
etc.
Here's a link to a Chart that lists of all the debates: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_republican_debates
p.s. The 'participants' for the January 16, 2012 debate aren't listed yet.

(27,711 posts)No Cain, No Bachmann, and No Perry would just leave us with babbling Paul, slimey Mittens, sick Santorum, and neutered Newt. It really just wouldn't be that funny, kinda sad actually...
