Has Andrea Mitchel lost all ability to reason?

Over the last few days saw a number of people complaining about her comments.

Don't normally see MSNBC during the day but in the past have seen her make an attempt to achieve some balance.

Today she came on like a Romney spokesperson.

She was all beaming because of Romney's 'brilliant handling' of the woman who called the President a monster.

If you missed it here is the exchange;

The woman, who did not identify herself to the crowd other than saying she is an “angry mom,” was telling Romney about her son’s struggling business and said, “He’s had to lay off people and he may have to close some stores and it’s all because of what this monster has done to this country.”

As the crowd laughed and began to applause, Romney jumped in, “That’s not a term I would use.”

Romney later added that the woman had “every right to be angry.”

She then compaired it to one of the few bright spots of McCain's campaign where he famously gently chided a confused addle brained woman who thought Obama was a Muslim.

She absolutely gushed about how Romney 'pushed back' at the woman.

Romney didn't push back (and he didn't 'jump in' as the article suggests) he looked at the woman, smiled and said "that's not a term I would use".

No push back Andrea, that's a smarmy way to say "your right but I can't use the words that you use."

This country is losing its mind. Andrea Mitchel's may already be gone.

And it has absolutely nothing to do with a lack of demand for his store's services ... Right?

And I was going to post that your tense was off and you should have written, "She IS a plant." While that statement may well be true, it was not what you intended.

When their businesses fail, it's all Obama's fault.

She's simply showing her true colors, stomp the middle class = common people = rabble beneath her feet. They're really not bothering to hide it anymore.

She and the other long-time female commentors were just the classier version of the Fox T & A brigade. What made them appear reasonable was the charm school politeness they used in interviews. There was never anything in her head to begin with, nor most of the others like her.

Its so obvious that she's trying to figure out how to squeeze in the talking point, even when it doesn't fit. You can almost see the squirrel on the spinning wheel trying to gather the thought and create a coherent statement.
