He speaks yacht.

Yes, money runs our lives, and these famous quotes are true everywhere on the planet, but in America more than in any other place in the world, they describe what this country is about. And the Supreme Court of the United States of America not only reaffirmed their validity with the Citizens United ruling but blew it up to enormous proportions and gave us more fertile grounds for the breeding of corruption in the American Democratic system. In America, the rich do get richer, the poor get poorer, politics get dirtier, the system becomes more corrupt, and the Supreme Court helps perpetuate this vicious cycle.
I am getting to know a lot of new people these days and I am surprised how disenchanted they are of the US political system and how aware they are of the Citizen United ruling and the influence of money in the electoral process and the government. A January 2012 poll confirms these observations: The poll found that 62 percent of all voters oppose the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision and 46 percent of voters strongly oppose it. Meanwhile, 55 percent of voters do not believe that corporations should have the same rights as people.
Too bad.
