Watching Trump on MSNBC right now.

Has it occurred to anyone else that perhaps the big right wing hero is not Ayn Rand? Their heroes are actually the main characters from Sinclair Lewis novels. The Trumpster has just about invalidated Burt Lancaster's Wow! performance as Elmer Gantry. Geeze... And everyone wants seconds. And I may have just mixed a metaphor. You'll forgive if you saw it -

3. Bob Dole did that, too...

Bob Dole has a habit of talking in the third person, or using his own name instead of "I" when he talks about himself. This habit is the basis for many jokes about Dole.

He can be their nominee. Not a lot he says has a basis in reality but he's fun to watch.

There is no comparison, he is hands down the most charismatic guy on that side.

5. The charisma wears thin

I agree he has a certain New Yawky charisma, and is entertaining waiting for the next outrageous thing.

But I think it wears thin really fast. He repeats himself and pretty soon the emptiness becomes apparent.

But in terms of charisma, he is a titan against his fellow clown car passengers....I mean Scott Walker? Bibby J? Jeb.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Calling it bluster means you heard and understood what he said.

That's not how the voters choose on the Republican side.

To that crew, he's got charisma baby

9. Remember that conservatives lack a sense of humor and so can not cope with Trump

Conservatives are too stupid to have a sense of humor and so they can not cope with Trump. The best way to deal with Trump is to smile and laugh at his antics and imagine the faces of Priebus and the Koch brothers
