Democratic operative James Carville went on a tear Wednesday over a Washington Post article that described presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's campaign as facing a "full-scale Democratic freakout" over slipping poll numbers.
The longtime Clinton adviser was being interviewed by MSNBC's Luke Russert and used the live television appearance to go after "stupid media people," even at one point launching into a bizarre, high-pitched whine to imitate his detractors.
This is foolishness," Carville said during the interview. "I'm having to come out of my vacation to deal with this kind of stupidity that these people are putting out. And Hillary is going to be just fine. She's going to be just fine.
The Tuesday article, written by Washington Post reporter Chris Cillizza, questioned whether Clinton is a "good candidate" and if she's running a better campaign than she did in 2008, when she lost the nomination to President Obama.

Cilizza doesn't wanna report things that actually happen or represent whats happening. He wants to make things happen. That is not what media's job is. He is a disgrace. I hope all his articles get trolled on WaPo. People like Cilizza are ruining America, but thankfully, real watchdogs like James Carville, are what's right with America. Goes well with Bill Clinton's quote from his first inaugural "There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured with what is right with America."
WaPo is really embarrassing themselves this season.

It's back to using the meanest mouth this side of Ft Smith.
I'm not sure this looks good for a campaign trying to seem progressive.

(11,573 posts)His parody of the media freakout is hilarious. Of course, it's also an parody of some of the silly anti-Hillary stuff that goes on at DU, which is why, I suspect, so many of the responders on this thread seem so eager to reject it.
Poor Luke Russert, though. That's some of the most inept "journalism" I've ever seen.
