Fellow Bernie supporters. Let's set a higher ground here, and emotionally

when our candidate at various events is not allowed to carry his message whatever it be for that day. Let's disengage from the claims he and we are unconcerned about lives of African Americans being killed by an unjust society. We know it is false. Let Bernie handle it. There is absolutely nothing we can do about the circumstances of the canard he and his campaign or any speeches dealing any other problems are judged to be deliberate misplacement of priorities when all our problems are priorities. I sometimes wonder what the current DOJ's priorities are besides revolving doors and golden parachutes? Stay focused and true to principles. That is something the dirty and dishonest world of American politics and its system cannot rob of us. So just hold onto it and move forward.

Peace out.

You're great at throwing around smears without backing them with links.

And after providing you links on many topics that did not conform to your reality, I realized it was a waste of time. You're not going to accept anything that contradicts your opinions no matter what the source is.

After all, you entered this thread complaining about all the "smearing" threads.....that actually contain the links you claim to seek. How weird that you are unable to click on them unless I provide them.

Probably has nothing to do with your reply to those very links you now claim to seek. Which you will now claim to have never seen, despite replying to posts with them.

My solution for this was putting something like 100 DLC/Third Way type corporatists on ignore, and then put others on ignore as I come across their posts.

Life is so much better now that I rarely have to deal with Third Way RW bullshit.

If corporate propagandists have no audience, they'll be forced to use their strawmen on each other, and a few newbies who haven't learned about the ignore button yet.

so it looks like if you click on a name, you can then click ignore and then they go on the ignore list. So then when you read threads, their stuff just doesn't show up? and i can enjoy life outside the bernie group? Sounds .......pleasant.

Politics is a filthy, dirty, disgusting business. You will be tromping through the muck and shit, so you might as well pick up some hipwaders instead of wearing a nice suit.

And those principles are why you are bothering to wallow around in that filth. Not a reason to avoid it.

"We know it's false" is a recipe for it to become "true". Embodied by "I read somewhere that....."

Also, your proposal perfectly reinforces BLM's complaints - that Sanders (and his supporters) aren't talking about their problems.

particularly the false image of him as a well meaning but limited and unworldly older man from Vermont, a dominant white state with few blacks and minorities, who has only the Civil Rights record from his college activism in the 1960s, fifty years ago. Nothing could be further from the truth. Supporters could help out by informing people more about Bernie's continued 40 year effort to support policies for all Americans including blacks, minorities, women, LGBT people, immigrants and others if they took time to note many articles and videos posted here. As his message reaches more people, this is where the likely attacks on Bernie will come from by antagonist insiders on both sides, along with the obvious boogeyman, democratic socialism.

Examples include a recent video posted of Bernie speaking in 1986 to a Rainbow Coalition of mayors with Jesse Jackson before his 1988 presidential run, and an important July Buzzfeed article that featured Democrat and CA Rep. Barbara Lee who has worked with Bernie for decades, saying the 2016 campaign work Bernie's doing now and his message are very important.

Last week I posted on Bernie's recent Aug. 6 speech at a celebration at the National MLK Jr. Memorial in DC for the 50th anniversary of the VRA, the Voting Rights Act passed by LBJ in 1965. The event was sponsored by prominent Civil Rights organizations and included guests like Martin Luther King III who Bernie acknowledged, and NAACP Pres. and CEO Cornell Williams Brooks who also spoke out on the rise of voter suppression particularly since the 2013 US Supreme Court decision to nullify a key clause in the VRA regarding states with a history of voter discrimination.

On his campaign tour of Louisiana recently Bernie spoke at an event noted here, a meeting of the distinguished Civil Rights group, the SCLC, the Southern Christian Leadership Council founded in 1957 and so firmly affiliated with Martin Luther King, Jr. the organization's first president. Earlier in July Bernie gave a very well received speech to a responsive audience at a conference by La Raza, the oldest and largest advocacy organization for Latinos in the US.

The long record of Bernie's work advocating policies to help all Americans and workers is typified by the recent $15 Minimum Wage Rally in DC at the US Capitol attended by thousands of federal contract workers, and speakers Bernie and MN Rep. Keith Ellison. Bernie also has long ties and relationships with national level government representatives like Lee, Ellison, John Conyers of Michigan and other members of the Congressional Black Caucus co-founded by CA Rep. Ron Dellums in 1971, and the Congressional Progressive Caucus which Bernie helped establish in 1992 that currently has a membership of 70 Congressional representatives.

Bernie's vast and diverse record is an asset, not a detraction from his formidable achievements in this critical 2016 presidential campaign. Let's keep it up, Go Bernie!

Why the hell aren't these protesters going after the people who actually have the power to do something about the killings of young black people by the cops, namely Obama and his justice department.

BLM seems way more concerned with what Bernie Sanders might do than what Obama hasn't done and isn't even doing yet.
