For once they have approl and voting the same.When they have those voting for him less than approval I doudt their polling.

,,,energized by this. It is good public policy, and it is the correct thing to do. The gop is angry, because they knew that Romney was preparing a new policy on immigration that had similarities to it. Obama got it first, and they are pissed. Too bad!!!

Both Gallup and Rasmussen tracking polls have Romney and Obama virtually tied for at least two weeks. One day one of them is up one then down one. Not much change at all. Certainly no trend.

but Congress has rarely passed anything important in recent times. That might explain why the approval rating of Congress are so low.

I personally believe that the majority of Americans support Obama's idea. Congress is mired in partisan bickering and is basically useless but Obama proved that his administration can make headway on some issues.

Americans like that! They are tired of stalemate and inactivity. Consequently Obama's ratings jump and could jump even more if the Republicans oppose his plan.
