5 reasons Bernie would be a better president than Hillary

http://www.forwardprogressives.com/5-reasons-bernie-sanders-better-president-hillary-clinton/

As more Americans find out who Bernie Sanders is and that Hillary Clinton isn’t the only person running for the 2016 Democratic nomination, his poll numbers have begun to rise. If you’re like me, the thought of Hillary Clinton being the next president is better than any Republican, but at the same time, there are other candidates that are more appealing. Establishment Democrats are almost unanimously behind Hillary and many have told us that we should basically shut up and get behind her campaign – because any dissension in the ranks could cost her the general election.

If Hillary can win, so can Bernie.

There is no logic to the baseless
talking point that only Hillary
can win.

In fact, Bernie is turning republicans
to his campaign, whereas Hillary is
simply to polarizing to flip any votes
from red to blue.

but Hillary has a better chance of drawing in moderate Independents and Republicans.

Independent voters have left their
respective parties due to the perceived
fealty to the financial elite.

Hillary represents the interests
of the financial elite, of which she
is a member. (she's NOT "dead broke&quot

Republicans have a great animosity and
disdain towards the Clinton dynasty.
Republicans want Trump, not Clinton.

First-all independents are opposed to their default Parties because of "fealty to the financial elite". Independents are tired of the formal political process for a range of reasons. There are moderate Independents who see both Parties as failing to "get things done" and who would support a moderate candidate in either Party.

Second-all Republicans are crazed tea-poarty/bible thumper cooks. They only represent 25-30% of actual Party voters, but they have oversized influence. There are plenty of moderate suburban Republicans who have a basic "don't over-regulate me/don't waste my taxes" philosophy who would go with a moderate Democrat over a fringe Republican (Claire McCaskill over Todd Akin in MO; Joe Donnelly over Richard Mourdock in IN), but would not be supportive of a "big spending" liberal.

what to post about. So I'm going to focus on his VOTING record, on the issues he fought for, and against. AND I'm going to compare them to the others in the race.

They want us to be distracted because when you focus on the issues, Bernie wins hands down.

I'm taking his lead and will ONLY talk about the candidates records on the issues. That's ALL that counts.

Good post, thank you for posting it
