A lot of what Hillary supporters here label as misogyny or attacks are when we post her actual statements or actions.

(14,255 posts)At least it is not the usual Hillary has a bunch of money so Bernie should quit now.
"Self-described Socialist", all the usual buzz words.

(55,144 posts)The clown car is who needs to be attacked not a fellow Democrat. Luckily the Democrat being attacked, has poise & grace and can handle it unlike people that jump out of their skin at the first mention of any criticism of their candidate (if their candidate is perfect, why isn't he already President and or why has his poll numbers plateaued? makes one wonder). I think that's what is pissing them off more than anything.
I won't even mention the fact Hillary is going to be our nominee. Oops, too late.

(47,209 posts)I was trying to do the math, but you would not give a time frame or reason when I asked about your Republican years.
Let's see Clinton, nope. Clinton? Nope. Obama.... hells no. That leaves.... none- isn't that right?
Sounds like you're as happy with Dems as you were with Republicans!

(47,209 posts)It's not easy to understand why someone has a "come to Jesus" moment and switches from Republican to Democrat and yet has never ever liked any of the Democratic leadership.
What would prompt you to switch parties when you overwhelmingly disapprove of their leadership for - I don't know is it twenty or thirty years now? Or since FDR?
Makes no sense at all. And of course it's nothing anyone else should try and explain on his behalf.

Yeah, your a liberal for Clinton. Fine. I get that and I respect you have a different opinion. I can tell you that Hillary is Third Way all the way and is only vaguely matching Bernie's policy initiatives with a lot of rhetoric and a lack of specifics.

(14,524 posts)Ever notice how these shills NEVER talk about the actual issues that many Bernie Sanders supporters have with Clinton? The hard REAL WORLD things she has done that have destroyed our trust in her and her rhetoric? Instead, they misrepresent far less important "differences" in a blatant attempt to drive a wedge between Bernie and his supporters.
No sale pal. Your game is just plain stale.

(10,565 posts)Rosenstein's piece is "An attack piece while calling to avoid attacks. An appeal towards the inevitablity of Hillary as a candidate while claiming to welcome the debate. A velvet glove of civility holding a verbal shiv." (commenter Sean Westberg)

(3,675 posts)comprehending is another apparently. this "letter" is nothing but passive aggressive patronizing and condescendsion. nothing epitomizes the tone/attitude of the Hillary camp better than this so it is worth a read for that reason at least as proof as to how they feel about us lesser people. the comments telling the pompous gasbag off one after the other following the "letter" on that page are well worth the read as well.

(9,497 posts)Because the responses to this letter on the HPost have been fun! I imagine you would react to the same kind of OP piece in the HPost as well. And there you go. It gave you and H supporters a place to comment on comments with snide remarks. This reminds me so much of 2008.

(1,469 posts)'leave the thinking to your betters, forget your little concerns'
all we need from you now, is a little obedience'
he mystery of where the milk went to was soon cleared up. It was mixed
every day into the pigs' mash. The early apples were now ripening, and the
grass of the orchard was littered with windfalls. The animals had assumed
as a matter of course that these would be shared out equally; one day,
however, the order went forth that all the windfalls were to be collected
and brought to the harness-room for the use of the pigs. At this some of
the other animals murmured, but it was no use. All the pigs were in full
agreement on this point, even Snowball and Napoleon. Squealer was sent to
make the necessary explanations to the others.
"Comrades!" he cried. "You do not imagine, I hope, that we pigs are doing
this in a spirit of selfishness and privilege? Many of us actually dislike
milk and apples. I dislike them myself. Our sole object in taking these
things is to preserve our health. Milk and apples (this has been proved by
Science, comrades) contain substances absolutely necessary to the
well-being of a pig. We pigs are brainworkers. The whole management and
organisation of this farm depend on us. Day and night we are watching over
your welfare. It is for YOUR sake that we drink that milk and eat those
apples. Do you know what would happen if we pigs failed in our duty? Jones
would come back! Yes, Jones would come back! Surely, comrades," cried
Squealer almost pleadingly, skipping from side to side and whisking his
tail, "surely there is no one among you who wants to see Jones come back?"
Now if there was one thing that the animals were completely certain of, it
was that they did not want Jones back. When it was put to them in this
light, they had no more to say. The importance of keeping the pigs in good
health was all too obvious. So it was agreed without further argument that
the milk and the windfall apples (and also the main crop of apples when
they ripened) should be reserved for the pigs alone.
