2. You know what - the same is likely true of any well known Democrat
Both have DEMOCRATS as there base. One interesting observation is that the points fall almost exactly on the x = y line. The difference is that Obama is a little higher for Democratic groups where the % favorable is above 60%, while HRC is higher in the groups on groups that have low support for Democrats. (To see this read numbers off the trend line) However, that is very slight.
The main point is that - in each group, they are quite similar. (Note the absence of any point far from the trend line). |

7. I agree.
Black folks aren't going to swarm to the polls for Hillary, and perhaps not the young people either. Those two constituent groups were a big part of Obama's base.
I still remember meeting a guy who was rabidly pro-life and he was going to hold his nose and vote for Obama because he wanted a black president. Some of these folks are going to stay home. |
