1. Don't ask that question to Republicans. They live in an alternate reality.

Every bad thing the GOP has done to set the American people bad is good in their eyes, even if it's caused them personal hardship. It's the Bizarro World they live in. Bush's tax cuts 'helped' them, even if they were only working as greeters at Walmart. The GOP hasn't done a damn thing for them, but they're positive that they're not one of the 47%, even if they do work at McDonald's.

Amazingly, his response was that we invaded Iraq. When that went over like a lead balloon, he was at a complete loss

I ask this all the time to my conservative friends. They never have a answer because there is none. Republicans are a party organized around what they are against.

Every single policy (social wedge issues like abortion aside) by the right benefits the uber-wealthy, its a ls simple as that. Anytime a policy of theirs does help the middle class, that was just a lucky byproduct of its true intention of helping the ruling class.

They act in the best interests of below-average Americans.

Okay, well, not even them, although the pukes court the below-average vote assiduously.

This was my email with a subject line of Name 1 thing.
Name ONE thing the GOP has actually done in the best interest of average American people since Nixon resigned.

Come on now. It's not a trick question either. You can do it. Come on now. Think about it.

His reply was insane, and I can't put it in here due to content. He accused me of needing more brains, not seeing the BIG picture and spending too much time on the net for a few. He probably spent a good 30-40 minutes typing.

My reply was:

All those keystrokes, and no answer. What a waste of time.

More brains? My head can't get any bigger. It's filled with ideas on how to save the middle class, while your party tries to destroy us all. When are you going to wake up? Quit listening to FAUX NOISE and stay informed about the shit going on around you.

Sitting on the internet? Where else can you find an answer to just about anything?

Now quit pissing your day away and answer my question,,,,,,,,,,

You can't.

I am still waiting for a reply that I'll never get.

8. Actually, I have to give credit to GW Bush for the help he gave millions in Africa

in his PEPFAR initiative to combat AIDS:

It did help all of us Americans because of the goodwill we get for this program from Africans. It is a win/win for everybody...
