(45,319 posts)I skip push polls even when I agree with the push. A very important issue, of course so are others, it is not the single issue obviously as the unemployed can not eat privacy and we still have economic problems and such.

(24,412 posts)I don't really know anybody IRL whom is seriously concerned about this either. More people I know are more upset about the GOP's anti-gay, anti-abortion, anti-women, anti-worker, anti-poor crusades at the state level and the GOP's inaction and obstructionism at the national level. Hopefully, that translates into increased turnout by our side and getting rid of more Republicans at the state and national levels but I don't know if NSA is going to be a defining issue in the campaign. Most people know (or suspect) that there is spying going on but haven't been negatively affected by it, so nobody really cares.
